The Lavoisier Medal for Technical Achievement, 1990 Collection of Helen Carothers

DuPont presents the Lavoisier medal to thier scientists and engineers whose accomplishments have helped to build the company into a world leader. In 1990, the first year in which the award was given, the recipients included several of the most distinguished chemists in its past history, including Carothers, who was given the award posthumously.
