About the Authors

Donald McKinney was a chemistry teacher at Radnor High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania before his retirement in 1999. Since that time in addition to his work at Chemical Heritage Foundation he is a consultant for Rosemont College in Rosemont, Pennsylvania and for the Delaware County Intermediate Unit in Pennsylvania. He is co-author of the Pharmaceutical Achievers module Magic Bullets.

Mark Michalovic is an education specialist at the Chemical Heritage Foundation. He holds a Ph.D .in polymer science from the University of Southern Mississippi and was the primary author of that university's The Macrogalleria polymer chemistry electronic educational resource. He has been at CHF since 1999.

Ronald Tempest taught chemistry and physical science at Germantown Academy in Ft. Washington, Pennsylvania, for several decades until his retirement in 2001. In addition he has been heaviliy involved in educational outreach with the American Chemical Society and Philadelphia's Franklin Institute.
