Apple Purée in Pastry

Prep: 10 min, Cook: 10 min.

Bake puff pastry shells according to package directions. Combine next 4 ingredients in a heavy nonreactive saucepan over medium high heat. Bring to a boil. Immediately reduce heat to low. Simmer 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until apples are very soft. Transfer apple mixture to a food processor or blender and purée. Fill pastry shells with warm applesauce and top with frozen yogurt.
