Place corn in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover saucepan and steam 3 minutes. Add peas and cook another 2 minutes or until peas are just warm and corn is tender. Transfer to a bowl and stir in next 4 ingredients. Combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic, and oregano in a bowl and mix thoroughly. Stir into vegetable mixture and season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve at room temperature or chilled.
