Quick & Easy Pita Pizza

  • 4 pita breads, 20 cm (8 inches)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella
    cheese
  • ¼ cup each chopped green
    and red peppers
  • 24 slices pepperoni
   Pizza Sauce:

  • 1 cup tomato ketchup
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. grated parmesan cheese

Sauce:

Combine all sauce ingredients; mix well.

For 1 Pizza:

Spread each pita round with ¼ cup (50 ml) sauce; top with mozzarella, peppers and pepperoni. Bake at 450°F for 10 minutes or until cheese melts.
