How can I help CHF?
 The Ullyot Meeting Hall
For Events from Intimate to Grand
The Glenn Edgar and Barbara Hodsdon Ullyot Meeting Hall at CHF combines state-of-the-art presentation technology with a look and feeling that fit well with the rich history of its surroundings.

Designed to preserve intimacy, this very adaptable space with rich wood paneling from floor to ceiling can accommodate up to 300 people for a lecture and 200 for a meal. This same space can be partitioned to provide the perfect setting for a gathering of 50 or more people.

A Natural Urban Setting
The new Ullyot Meeting Hall takes advantage of an exceptional setting, poised between the Independence National Historic Park and courtyard landscapes. Unusual, particularly for urban meeting rooms, Ullyot Hall is naturally sun-lit by two-story windows facing south onto the park. A combination of independently controlled translucent screens, opaque shades, and acoustical draperies enables room users to "tune" the room for light and visibility. This allows for both highly visible nighttime receptions as well as quiet, focused scholarly presentations. Daytime meetings are frequently held without supplemental lighting.

Perfect Location
Located within what has been referred to as "America’s Most Historic Square Mile," the flexible meeting space can host conferences, symposia, award ceremonies, and many other events. CHF is close to public transportation, just a few blocks from major highways, and within a neighborhood that draws visitors from around the world.
