Jennifer Dionisio is Program Associate for the Roy Eddleman Institute at the Chemical Heritage Foundation. Since April 2009 she has served as Book Review and Associate Editor of Chemical Heritage magazine and Executive Producer of the Distillations podcast. She also coordinates many of the public programming activities related to CHF’s museum, including First Fridays at CHF, and, most recently, The Secret Cinema at CHF. She originally joined CHF in September 2006 as Program Assistant in the Center for Contemporary History and Policy’s Biotechnology and Environmental Science areas where she worked in conjunction with the Oral History Program and helped coordinate conferences and research projects.
She holds a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh’s English Writing department, where she focused on nonfiction. For the past six years she has worked as a freelance journalist and art and music reviewer for a variety of newspapers, magazines, and blogs including the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Pittsburgh City Paper, the Metro, Paste, Rapportage, Phillyist, and Next American City.
