Science on Tap

Ah, Spring. The time of year when you can finally start comfortably walking everywhere in the city. When everyone welcomes back First Friday (come on, you didn’t go in the Winter), dining outside, touting tourist friends around town, long bike rides, and rummaging for rare comics at flea markets.

In addition to all those little perks, there are a ton of awesome events going on through out the city this Spring that geeks of all ages can enjoy. From symphonies playing the music of James Bond to museum exhibitions about actual spies, free comic books at local shops to giant comic book conventions, there’s plenty to do.

(Monday, May 13th, and Monday, June 10th)

A monthly event at National Mechanics in Old City, Science on Tap features two amazing things. Lectures from scientists and delicious beer. May’s lecture will be presented by the Mutter Museum, while June is being handled by the American Philosophical Society.

Visit the Science on Tap website for details and to keep up on the lectures.
