The Society of Chemical Industry, America International Group, announced today that the SCI Chemical Industry Medal will be awarded to David Weidman, chairman and CEO, Celanese Corporation (NYSE: CE).
“Dave Weidman has shown tremendous business leadership in an evolving, and often volatile, global economy,” said Stephanie A. Weidman will receive the medal at a dinner in his honor on March 13, 2012, at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York.
