The Chemical Heritage Foundation (CHF) has named Kevin Cavanaugh as vice president for finance and administration and chief financial officer. In this role he will be responsible for the investment portfolio and all financial operations for the world’s largest organization preserving and interpreting the history of chemistry and early science. He will also lead expansion of CHF facilities at its headquarters in Philadelphia.

“Kevin brings considerable depth and breadth of financial experience to CHF,” said Thomas R. Tritton, president and CEO. “His financial leadership in both nonprofit and for-profit organizations plus his personal enthusiasm for CHF’s mission make him the ideal person to help CHF achieve growth and success.”
