Description

Although nothing precludes its use for simply adding a liquid to a vessel below, this funnel is specifically designed for filtration. The angle of the cone is made precisely to 60 degrees so that a circular, flat filter paper, when folded in half and then in half again, can be opened to form a cone that will fit exactly inside the funnel. Some filter funnels have a ribbed inner surface to speed filtration.
