Programs
The Eddleman Institute operates a wide variety of exciting programs that are offered in person, on the Web, and in print. Eddleman programs are designed to help a broad audience discover chemistry in an accessible and thought-provoking way. Programs fall into the following categories:
The Museum at CHF aims to share CHF’s collections and knowledge with the general public. Our goal is to make visitors understand that chemistry is everywhere.
Our public programs reveal the chemistry in everyday life through lectures, demonstrations, informal talks, and workshops.
Print and Web-based publications are central to CHF’s mission of outreach.
The Eddleman Institute offers history of chemistry materials and classroom activities to help students understand that chemistry is much more than the elements on the periodic table: it’s a human endeavor.
