This week we continue our first series within Distillations. In this 4-part series we’re going to look at the four classical elements, one per show—earth, air, water, and fire. Today’s episode is about water. We’re looking at water and how to make sure you can drink it. First we learn about different ways of purifying and filtering water. And next, producer Nina Perry looks at the potential water shortage in England and a new desalination plant that Thames Water is building.
