Bonnie Charpentier

The obstacles facing women today have not disappeared—they’ve just become more subtle, says Bonnie Charpentier. In this week’s episode, she discusses the importance of humor in facing adversity and achieving success.

Charpentier is the vice president of regulatory affairs at Metabolex, a biopharmaceutical company based in California. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the American Chemical Society. She has spent much of her career in regulatory positions at firms including Genitope, Roche Global Development, and Syntex. Charpentier holds a Ph.D. in biology from the University of Houston.
