Cynthia Palmer is a chemist at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). She received a Ph.D. in biophysics from Syracuse University, an M.S. in chemistry from San Francisco State University, and an M.S. in materials engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. Before joining the FDA she worked as a principal scientist at Pfizer, and before that, at Merck.
