Dawn Hocevar

After years of relentlessly pursuing her career, some simple words from her four-year-old daughter shook Dawn Hocevar to the core. From that moment she decided to reexamine the priorities in her life.

Hocevar is the director of national business development at BioSurplus, where she is responsible for establishing and expanding relationships with equipment manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, and other supply channel and auction partners throughout the country. Before joining BioSurplus in 2007 Hocevar worked for Fisher Scientific for 20 years, in various positions including senior sales representative and corporate account manager. She worked as a licensed medical technologist at Stanford Medical Center before joining Fisher. Hocevar received her B.S. in biology with a minor in chemistry from San Jose State University.
