Sharon Haynie, principal investigator at DuPont, shares the advice that helped her get savvy and make the most of her experience at MIT.

Sharon Haynie received a B.S. in biochemistry from the University of Pennsylvania and a Ph.D. in chemistry at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Following a few years with AT&T Bell Laboratories, she joined DuPont, where she is currently a principal investigator in DuPont Central Research and Development. She is also a member of the Chemical Heritage Foundation Board of Directors.
