    The questions in this quiz are designed to test the students' learning at various levels as well as to provoke them to use higher level analytic and synthetic thought. These questions may be used for assessment or as a self-test and study guide for the students. If you use this as an assessment activity, you may have your students write their answers on paper to be handed in or to have them e-mail their work to you.

      5.6 The questions require students to understand that molecular structure determines the properties of a material.
