For the last 40 years, the semiconductor equipment and materials sector has served as the hidden foundation of the semiconductor industry. The firms in this sector collectively provide the tools and materials that make possible the proliferation of electronic products that we associate with the contemporary digital age.
Through this event, we hope to begin a conversation that will allow us to understand the sector’s development since its beginning in the late 1960s and its many contributions to the expansion and globalization of the semiconductor industry.
