About the Museum
How can I help CHF?

An excellent example of CHF's archival collections, this notebook contains Paul Lauterbur's ideas for what later became known as MRI. View the notebook
Personal Papers
CHF holds the personal papers of more than 45 chemists, chemical engineers, and other notable figures, including several Nobel laureates. Personal papers may include notebooks, lab books, correspondence, manuscripts, article reprints, patents, reports, speeches, research files, and more. These collections are cataloged, with finding aids, in the online public access catalog (OPAC) of the Othmer Library of Chemical History.

TIP: To search for a particular collection in the OPAC, be sure to narrow your search by first selecting “Archives and Images” from the collection drop-down list.
