Portable Lessons in the History of Chemistry

CHF creates traveling exhibits that bring to light the unique histories, personalities, and developments in chemistry and related sciences, technologies, and industries.

Available Exhibits
We currently have two traveling exhibits available for display at your institution:

> Her Lab in Your Life: Women in Chemistry
Created especially for high school and college students, but designed to engage general audiences, this exhibition showcases women chemists who have helped create our modern world.
> Chemistry Is Electric!
This exhibit explores the phenomenon of electrochemistry and how scientists apply its enormous potential to practical problems.

Institutions across the country—including schools, museums, research centers, and corporations—have hosted our traveling exhibits, which display accessible texts and lively images that appeal to a variety of audiences. Read about some of our past exhibits.

Companion Books
Each exhibit has an illustrated companion book. Exhibit books cost $8 each, and we offer discounts on orders of 10 or more. Exhibit books can be ordered from our online Publications Catalog or when you book an exhibit.

Exhibit Hosting Fees
Her Lab in Your Life: Women in Chemistry has a fixed hosting fee (see details). For other traveling exhibits, the only charge is the cost of standard ground shipping to the next destination. Hosts requesting special shipping arrangements may incur additional charges. Please contact us for details.
