Pittcon Hall of Fame Close Window

The Chemical Heritage Foundation is proud to create this Web version of the Pittcon Hall of Fame, which honors the legends among scientific instrument makers, including all recipients of the Pittcon Heritage Award. The brief biographies featured in the popular display at the annual Pittsburgh Conference on Analytical Chemistry and Applied Spectroscopy (Pittcon) were expanded and produced in this form in response to requests from conference attendees.

CHF thanks the American Chemical Society (ACS), which granted permission to adapt the biographical information* for these Web pages, and Declan O’Reilly, former Charles Price Fellow in Polymer Chemistry at CHF, for his contributions.

CHF gratefully acknowledges the generous support of the Arnold and Mabel Beckman Foundation for this undertaking and thanks the Pittsburgh Conference on Analytical Chemistry and Applied Spectroscopy for giving CHF the opportunity to be a partner in maintaining the Pittcon Hall of Fame.
