Chemical Heritage Foundation and the Founders Club to Present Petrochemical Heritage Award to Dan L. Duncan
Award will be presented at the opening of the 32nd annual NPRA International Petrochemical Conference in San Antonio

PHILADELPHIA, PA—20 March 2007The Chemical Heritage Foundation (CHF) and the Founders Club today announced that Dan L. Duncan, founder and chairman of Enterprise Products Partners L.P., will receive the eleventh annual Petrochemical Heritage Award on Sunday, 25 March 2007, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas. The award will be presented to Duncan at the annual Symposium on Innovation and Entrepreneurship, held as part of the 32nd National Petrochemical Refiners Association (NPRA) International Petrochemical Conference.

"Beginning with two trucks, two customers, and a great idea, Dan Duncan has created one of the great petrochemical enterprises in America," said Arnold Thackray, CHF president. "In addition to delivering energy to meet the needs of industry, consumers, and the military, Duncan has played leadership roles in support of medical research and treatment. He is an innovator and an entrepreneur of legendary determination, shrewd insight, and strong vision."

About David Schwartz
In 1968 Dan L. Duncan founded EPCO, one of the nation's largest and most successful energy companies, a family of companies that now includes four publicly traded partnerships with an aggregate enterprise value of more than $29 billion. The largest of these entities, Enterprise Products Partners L.P., is one of the premier midstream energy master limited partnerships in North America. Through its comprehensive network of pipelines, plants, terminals, and storage facilities, Enterprise plays a crucial role in meeting the country's demand for the energy that heats homes, powers the petrochemical industry, fuels vehicles, and drives economic growth.

Under Duncan's leadership, Enterprise has flourished becoming a Fortune 200 company that is consistently ranked among the nation's best managed. Duncan, who has served as the company's chairman since 1995, was inducted into the Texas Businessman's Hall of Fame in 2003 and received the Woodrow Wilson Award for Corporate Citizenship in 2006.

Duncan supports the Baylor College of Medicine, the Weatherby Foundation International, and the University of Texas at Houston Development Board. A strong advocate of wildlife conservation, Duncan is a recipient of the Weatherby Award, the Safari Club International Hunter of the Year, the Houston Safari Club Hunter of the Year Award, and the Conklin Award. In addition, his Smithville ranch has been recognized for its conservation efforts by the state of Texas, the only partial-high-fence ranch to win such an award.
