Mission

The Center for Contemporary History and Policy identifies key issues at the intersections of science, technology, and medicine that can benefit from careful research, analysis, and new perspectives. We develop projects that mobilize history, using archives, interviews, case studies, and oral histories to apply original perspectives to contemporary science and technology-based societal challenges.

Our work and findings are packaged in multiple forms to meet the needs of diverse constituencies, including individuals in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors, as well as current and future researchers. We expect to be a crucial partner in the exchange of innovative ideas relevant to today's issues.
