Third-Party Fellowships

CHF offers short-term fellowships sponsored by other organizations for scholars in residence to do research in our collections:

Société de Chimie Industrielle (American Section) Fellowship, open to writers, journalists, educators, and historians of science, technology, or business whose projects will advance public understanding of the chemical industries. Multimedia, popular book projects and Web-based projects are encouraged. Stipend: $15,000.

Glenn E. and Barbara Hodsdon Ullyot Scholarship, open to scholars, graduate students, science writers, and journalists who plan to conduct historical research that will advance public understanding of the chemical sciences. Stipend: $4,500.
