Cheers to Craft Beer!

Beer brewing goes back centuries, but craft brewing is a decidedly modern industry. In honor of Philly Beer Week, CHF presented a special First Friday event honoring the history of both national and local craft brews.
First up, we celebrated Philadelphia with a talk led by noted beer historian Rich Wagner. In “Craft Brewing in Philadelphia, The First 25 Years,” Wagner told the lively stories of the brewers and breweries that put this city on the map.
Next, Left Hand Brewery’s Dan Conway shared his knowledge of evolving beer trends while offering samples of such tasty brews as Left Hand’s rich Milk Stout, ginger-tinged Good Juju Ale, and The Stranger Pale Ale.
