Scott McRobert, “Bedtime Stories for Fido: Life in a Biodiversity Laboratory”

Science on Tap

Science on Tap is a monthly gathering that features a brief, informal presentation by a scientist or other expert followed by lively conversation.

Scott McRobert, professor of biology at St. Joseph’s University, studies animal behavior, ecology, and evolution, and oversees the university’s Biodiversity Laboratory. For November 2010’s Science on Tap, he offered a behind-the-scenes look at the Lab, which houses hundreds of rare, exotic, and highly endangered animal species. Known for his dynamic storytelling, McRobert told tales about his amazing animals, some of whom audience members got to meet in person.

Presented by the Wagner Free Institute of Science.
