You’ve made it to Antarctica, but now what? Try flying a plane miles up into the sky and taking your chemical measurements there! (Don’t worry, some experiments can be done on the frozen ground.) Spend four frosty months finding out what’s in the air that’s creating the ozone hole.

Repeat Step 4. It takes two trips to the Antarctic to make the measurements you need. Now run home and study your data someplace warm.
